SITES in Stockton Heath, including Victoria Square in the village centre, are being considered for farmers' markets.
Parish councillors asked about a market being held on Mill Lane but Warrington Borough Council bosses have dismissed the idea.
They say the area has poor access for traders, is too close to residents' houses and there are not enough facilities for parking.
The first farmer's market in Warrington will be held at Walton Hall Gardens in July.
If successful, Stockton Heath Parish Council will suggest Victoria Square as a possible future site.
