A DEDICATED son whose dad is battling bowel cancer is calling for a Tour de Force from the public when gets on his bike for charity.
Fitness instructor John Foy has arranged a sponsored bike ride from Halton Stadium to his beloved Goodison Park.
John, 24, of Hough Green wants as many people as possible to get on their bikes in aid of cancer research.
His dad, also called John, is a youth football manager who has worked in Halton for 30 years. Inspired by his Dad's work in the local community, John is relying on pedal power alone to get him through the 40 mile roundtrip between stadiums.
John is setting off from the Halton Stadium at 10am on Sunday, May 16. To take part costs £5. Call John on 0151-510 3879 for more details.
