Mr Frank Skelland, husband of Mrs Agnes Skelland, died of bronchial carcinoma on March 14, aged 86.
Mr Skelland, of Festival Avenue, Orford, lived in Warrington all his life. He was employed as a steel worker at Robertson Steel Works.
Mr Skelland won cups for his bowling, enjoyed wood model-making and toy-making, and raffled a model caravan for charity. He loved working and sitting in his garden, and reading, until his eyesight started to fail.
Mr Skelland leaves his wife, a son, a daughter, a sister, a brother, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A service was held on March 23 at Burtonwood Chapel, followed by interment at Burtonwood Cemetery. The Rev Father John officiated.
Arrangements were made by Co-operative Funeral Services.
