Mr Thomas Joseph Wood, husband of the late Mrs Eleanor Wood, died on March 19, aged 87.
Mr Wood, of Boyle Avenue, Orford, lived in Warrington all his life.
He was employed as a driver at Metro-Cutanit in Grappenhall for 20 years.
Mr Wood was a lifetime committee member of St Stephen's Catholic Club and Walker's Club. He enjoyed watching rugby league, and in his earlier years travelled to Wembley annually for the Challenge Cup final with the Limes Labour Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mr Wood leaves two sons, a daughter, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A service was held on March 30 at St Benedict's RC Church, followed by interment at Warrington Cemetery. The Rev Father Tony Slingo officiated.
Arrangements were made by Knox & Son.
