SHADY lady Anastacia is back after two years with this great new album - her third.
The blonde with the big voice and the shades has just hit the top of the album charts with this excellent selection of songs featuring her latest single Left Outside Alone.
Having recovered from breast cancer, she has obviously dealt with her pain through her music. Some of the lyrics are certainly heart-wrenching. In the song Where Do I Belong? she sings 'I'm trapped in darkness, why me, save me, to win this twisted war inside me'.
But this more mature collection of songs is not all doom - Sexy Single and Pretty Little Dum Dum have a rock feel to them and you'll soon be singing along and tapping your feet (not advisable if you're driving). While powerful ballads Heavy On My Heart and Maybe Today are my favourites.
Arguably the best album yet from Anastacia.
