CLOCK Face finished off their season going down to this home defeat by Shevington.
The visitors started off well with three tries by Parkinson, Metcalfe and C. Dunn, plus two goals by L. Owen in a 15 minute spell.
Then Clock replied with their only try of the half when Andy Johnson raced away from a scrum on the half way line to score in the corner, which was converted by Ian Chisnall.
The second half started with the visitors once again running in three tries in a 10 minute spell, coming from R. Dunn, L. Owen and Metcalfe, plus a goal from Owen to give them a commanding lead.
Clock were far from finished and when Wayne Prescott was tackled close to the line the ball then went out to Chisnall who then sent Steve Molyneux over for a try, which Chisnall goaled.
A penalty goal by Owen increased Shevingtons lead still further, before Kalan Warburton finished off the scoring when he slipped in a the corner for a try.
The J Hayhurst Builders man of the match was Steve Molyneux with Matt Waterworth and Kevin Moss also worthy of mention.
