SS PETER & Paul took 25 girls on a netball and football training tournament tour of Valkenburg in Holland during April.

The teams were very successful; the girls won the seven-a-side football tournament and the netball tournament.

Player of the tournament awards went to Rachel Tansey, Cheryl Brassington and Christa Price.

Most improved player went to Danielle Edge and the award for effort and determination went to Leanne Farrell.

A mixed team of girls from years 7, 8 and 9 won the Merseyside tag rugby festival.

An excellent display from all the girls saw them beat Parklands 7-0, Fairfield 5-2 and a Range A team 6-4 in the group stages.

In the semi final they beat Range B team 7-4 and they beat Range A again in the final 6-5. The girls involved were Faye Gaskin, Louise Murphy, Jessica Buck, Abby McDowell, Rebecca Briers, Darah Lynch, Liz Charnock and Aimee Cleaver.

The stars of our team were Faye, Liz and Aimee who scored 23 tries between them throughout the tournament.

Year 11 netball beat Bankfield in the Halton tournament, to go with the Halton League that they had already won.

Year 10 beat Bankfield, the Grange, Fairfield and Halton High to win the Halton tournament. They also finished runners up in the Halton League.
