CHESHIRE County Netball Association celebrated a successful season with its annual presentation ceremony.
The senior squad finished top of the Northern division and won promotion to the fourth division of the English Counties league after an unbeaten run throughout the season.
However, the U18 squad topped the honours by not only also being unbeaten in the English Counties league but also coming runners-up in the recent Alex Barlass Inter-County Tournament at Bournemouth which included squads from 48 other countries.
The tournament which is netball's equivalent of football's FA cup saw Cheshire from the Northern division take on the cream of England's netball and produce a shock result over two days to finish second, the best ever result for any Cheshire squad at any level.
Continuing the steady stream of netball talent were the U16s and U14s squads who also performed to a high level.
