WHAT on earth is going on in Penketh? Firstly, no carnival, no fun run or Walking Day and now it has come to my notice that Penketh and Sankey Conservative Club is closing.
Come on councillors, get your fingers out and do something for us just for once.
Greystone Road park is knee high with grass, there is dog muck everywhere and they have now erected new play equipment for the children, which at night is being used by teenagers.
Perhaps we need new young blood on Penketh Parish Council.
We should be fighting to keep the Conservative Club going, fighting for our carnival, and fun run, after all we pay enough parish precept on our council tax.
