INDIAN musicians brought the sounds of the subcontinent to Winwick during a special visit.
Two members of Manchester's Sanjeet Academy were invited to share their skills with Winwick Primary School pupils.
They spent the day in the school running workshops for the juniors.
Kim Jones, music coordinator, said: "It was great for the children to hear authentic Indian music and they had a thoroughly enjoyable day.
"A lot of the children were particularly interested in the drums and were asking the musicians where they could buy them."
