CATHERINE Timmins wants to thank everyone who donated money to the Stroke Association after her husband's death.
Arthur Timmins died in March, aged 76, 18 months after suffering a stroke.
His widow Catherine, of Melrose Drive, Burtonwood, asked mourners to give donations, rather than flowers, so Warrington's Stroke Association would benefit.
She said: "When Arthur had his stroke they were so good to him.
"They came out and provided him with a wheelchair and bath chair."
