RESIDENTS in Fairfield are hoping that new play area in Robson Street will be built in time for summer now that funding has been provided.
It is anticipated that work will start on the play area in the next few weeks, now that Waste Recycling Environmental (Wren) has provided a grant of £20,000.
It is thought the facility will cater more for young children who find it difficult to get out to St Elphin's Park.
