FORDTON Leisure Centre in Longford will host a Splash for Cash event on June 15, from 10am until noon, and on June 17, from 1pm until 3pm, to raise money for Tommy's, the baby charity.
Babies, toddlers and young children are sponsored to simply splash a width or length of the swimming pool and have fun raising money for vital research into premature birth, stillbirth and miscarriage.
Jane Brewin, chief executive of Tommy's, said: "This event is great fun for the youngsters taking part and the money raised will support Tommy's many research projects.
"Our work aims to end the heartache so many parents suffer when their precious baby dies during pregnancy or at birth.
"For the Splashathon, we're inviting toddlers to join in and take up this challenge - it's absolutely fantastic that these children can offer Tommy's such generous support."
Registration and sponsorship forms are available from Fordton leisure Centre reception.
