THE following scheme has been recommended by the government and is to be made available to all schools.
'Labour's Answer to Teenage Pregnancies.... oral sex lessons for children.'
Britain's teenage pregnancy rate is the highest in Europe and both St Helens and Knowsley Borough's rates are some of the highest in the UK.
The Labour government is to recommend a scheme called 'A Pause' to schools throughout England and Wales after trials at the University of Exeter.
The report encourages school children to experiment with oral sex as an effective way of reducing teenage pregnancies.
How these recommendations will affect the soaring sexually transmitted diseases cases among young people, has so far invited no response from Labour councillors.
