IN connection with the letter (Dear Star, May 20) about traffic lights outside the Grapes Pub on to Prescot Road, I was a bit annoyed when I saw this letter.
I live by the Grapes Pub and I had written to the Traffic Department about the traffic lights. We have had a few accidents there coming out of Portico Lane onto Prescot Road, plus trying to get out of Portico Lane can be a nightmare because you may have to wait about five to 10 minutes to get out. So I am glad that the traffic lights are going up at the moment.
