I am concerned about the lawlessness on the Fairbrothers Estate, Newton-le-Willows.
The police and Helena Housing and the Council are losing the battle.
Locals now call it Dodge City because terror reigns, vandalism, threats, intimidation... you name it, it's going on.
It's a handful of people causing it and misery to the rest. They have had A.S.B.O.'s issued to them and they couldn't care less.
They may have moved the trouble from Johnson Avenue, but it's now happening on the rest of the estate and escalating. Bus stops being smashed, threats and intimidation.
When are the people in charge going to stop messing around and do something about it, or is it that all they are bothered about are drunks in St Helens town centre at the weekend?
We are supposed to have a police force. Helena Housing are putting leaflets through peoples doors asking for information. People are scared, they want to see something being done. A.S.B.O.'s are a waste of time. This has been going on for years. It's time it was brought to an end.
