BRITISH Nuclear Group has launched an international 'intelligent nuclear clean-up scheme' set to benefit the environment and shareholders.
The group, which is currently part of Warrington-based BNFL, will use 30 years experience of cleaning more than 50 nuclear facilities worldwide to implement the scheme.
The Nuclear Decommissioning Authority has contracted several companies to be involved in the international clean-up, including the British Nuclear Group.
Lawrie Haynes, chief executive of British Nuclear Group, said: "We will significantly enhance the clean-up of the nuclear legacy, both at home and abroad."
