DELEGATES from Warrington council's economic development section visited German twin town Hilden to improve business links between the two towns.
Dr Carsten Kressel, head of economic development, and Helen Manley, business development officer (overseas), were introduced to many of Hilden's major business players on their fact finding mission in early May.
Dr Kressel said: "We are very keen to explore new avenues within the twinning relationship and this visit proved to be extremely successful.
"During our stay we met with our German counterparts, Mr Danscheidt, the director for economic development, and Mr Kurowsky, an economic development officer, who accompanied us to various meetings and are keen to pursue developments with Warrington further."
