ALLYN Condon is going for gold in the Olympics in August, but sees his future firmly in Warrington.
The 200-metre runner has taken time out of his training schedule to open a new business venture in Warrington town centre.
The town centre hair salon, called Vivant, opened in May.
But when Allyn returns from the Olympics, he will be opening the rear part of the salon as a sports therapy, physiotherapy and personal training and nutrition clinic.
Allyn said: "This is where my future lies long-term. I am 29 now and I can't go on running forever. I enjoy the physiotherapy and personal training side of the sport.
"I have a lot to offer in these areas and I'm pretty excited by the new venture."
The shop at Academy Place will also be used as a base for Allyn to work with the town's schools to promote sports, health and fitness.
Allyn, who lives in Warrington, is hoping to do the town proud in Athens.
UK Athletics chief executive David Moorcroft has already approached Allyn to ask him to be available to be part of the four by 400 metres relay team.
