DOROTHY Mottram was left all shook up from her 100th birthday surprise.
She celebrated the special occasion with a garden party at Thelwall Grange Nursing Home on Sunday.
The party featured a barbecue, a book sale, a white elephant sale, a disco and to top it all off, an Elvis impersonator was on hand to serenade the birthday girl.
She also received a telegram of congratulations from The Queen and was described by staff at the nursing home as the 'queen of the castle' at the party.
Dorothy was married and for many years was the landlady of the Birch and Bottle pub in Warrington, before retiring and eventually moving to Thelwall Grange.
