A TEENAGER sustained minor injuries when he was hit by a car outside the VIDA football centre on Long Lane.
The incident happened on Friday, May 28, at around 10.55pm when a grey Fiat Punto hit the boy, aged 16.
He was taken to Warrington Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
The incident caused concern among some residents who think that the sports centre is attracting nuisance youths that are getting drunk and are a danger to themselves and others.
