A MAN was attacked and his watch stolen on Saturday night as he walked down Wilderspool Causeway with his friend.
At around 1am the victim and his friend, both aged 20, were walking down the footpath, near the Causeway Hotel, when three offenders approached them from behind a bus shelter.
They assaulted the victim, breaking his nose, stole his watch and then fled down Wilderspool Causeway. Police later recovered the watch, worth £120.
The three offenders are described as white and between 16 and 20 years old.
The first attacker is described as stocky and was wearing a black jumper.
The second was wearing a grey jumper, blue tracksuit bottoms and a dark coloured baseball cap. The third offender was wearing a black t-shirt.
