ANTI-SOCIAL behaviour and under-age drinking were among the topics discussed when Warrington South MP Helen Southworth visited Penketh's Spar shop.
Tom Calderbank, managing director of the Alfred Jones group, which runs the store in Honiton Way, had the opportunity to raise a number of issues with the MP.
They talked about lottery licensing, the new licensing act for alcohol and retail crime.
Mr Calderbank said: "I think Mrs Southworth now has a better understanding of the sector and the challenges we face."
And Mrs Southworth added: "Retailers such as this Spar store are an integral part of the community and local people need these services at the heart of the neighbourhood.
"It is essential that as an MP I am kept informed of the very important issues facing stores like this in my constituency."
