PARISH councillors in Lymm and Grappenhall and Thelwall have joined a partnership agreement across south Warrington to provide extra police officers on the streets.
A meeting was held to agree terms about how many hours the community support officers will work during the week.
The officers, paid for by an agreement between the police and the parish councils, will not have powers of arrest but will provide a high visibility presence on the streets.
