Mrs Beryl May Keane, wife of Mr Patrick Keane, died on April 10, aged 65.
Mrs Keane, of Connemara, was born in Warrington and lived most of her life in Padgate before moving to Ireland 17 years ago.
She was employed for several years at Tetley Walker's Brewery, and went on to work for the Irish Health Authority, where she remained until last Christmas, when she retired.
Mrs Keane enjoyed reading and knitting.
She leaves her husband, four daughters, four sons, 17 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a sister.
A service was held on April 12 at St Mary's Church, Carna, prior to interment at Mweenish Beach Cemetery.
