Mrs Nellie Burns, wife of the late Mr Leslie Burns, died of bronchopneumonia on May 12, aged 92.
Mrs Burns, of Osborne Road, Walton, was born in Leeds and had lived in the Walton area for 44 years.
She was employed as a bookbinder at Jackson's Printers, Leeds, before her marriage.
She was a member of the Civil Service Retirement Fellowship, and she enjoyed cooking and looking after her family.
Mrs Burns leaves three sons, six grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a sister.
A service was held on May 24 at Walton Lea, followed by cremation. The Rev Graham Houghton officiated.
Arrangements were made by Co-operative Funeral Services.
