Mr Paul Foster, husband of Mrs Sue Foster, died on May 15, aged 49.
Mr Foster, of Locking Stumps Lane, was born in Warrington and lived in Orford for 26 years. He worked as a mechanical engineer.
Mr Foster had a mechanical engineering honours degree from Bradford University, and lived in South Africa for five years until 1987 when he moved to Locking Stumps. He took a keen interest in Warrington RLFC, playing the guitar and reading. He leaves his wife, a son and a daughter.
A service was held on May 21 at St Margaret's Church, followed by cremation at Walton Lea. The Rev Father John Reed officiated.
Arrangements were made by Cheshire Funeral Services.
