WORLD Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst put some young footballers through their paces as part of a nationwide tour to help youngsters receive top level coaching.
The 1966 hat-trick hero was at Garswood United football ground along with former Manchester United youth team manager, Eric Harrison, as part of the McDonald's National Coaching Tour.

Sir Geoff said: "The initiative is not to produce a Wayne Rooney, it's to give access to young children to good quality coaching."
Highlighting the importance of clubs such as Garswood FC, the England and West Ham United legend added: "Grass roots football is very important. It's where it all begins and at five and six-years-old they start to get interested."
He said that the tour was on target to train at least 8,000 new coaches within four years.
