SIXTIES legends The Fortunes are promising to rock the foundations of Northwich Memorial Hall when they roll into town later this month.

The Fortunes were international superstars in the sixties and seventies and for one night only they are coming to Northwich to spread the gospel according to the sixties.

The concert, on Tuesday, June 25, will concentrate on the hits of yesteryear, with a few contemporary classics thrown in for good measure.

The legendary line up is almost the same now as it was in 1963, with founding member Rod Allen as lead vocalist, Paul Hooper on drums, Michael Smitham playing guitar and Bob Jackson being added to the ranks in 1995 as vocalist and keyboard player.

The group boast many UK and US hits including Here It Comes Again, Caroline, You've Got Your Troubles and Storm In A Teacup.

Their song The Real Thing is still used today in American Coca Cola adverts and, in 1987, they were awarded a gold disc for sales of their All The Hits And More album.

They have travelled the world, stormed the States, and even now, 30 years after their initial success, they are still in great demand.

Tickets are £12.50, to book call 01606 867588.
