ST Patricks wrapped up the Earlestown Snooker League title this week despite only managing a draw with a five-man Beer Engine side.
The winners for St Patricks were Steve Critchley and Kevin Burnett.
Second-placed Beer Engine trounced Haydock Reading Room A 5-1.
The only winner for the A team was Tony Waters. Terry Burrows provided the opposition.
Third-placed Newton Social A lost at home to North Ashton by the same scoreline.
Scott Wall made a 47 break in his win against Ian Bryce and C Moules' victory over J Simm represented Newton's solitary success.
The league's only other 5-1 winners this week were Golborne Catholic.
Dave Marsh beat Gordon Stonier to stop Viaduct from being whitewashed.
Haydock Reading Room A had to settle for a share of the spoils with four-man Haydock Catholic B and Garswood Labour drew with Newton Social B.
Michael Sutton, Alan Bentham, Danny Tickle and Craig Parr were on top of their form as Bank Street Social Club defeated Haydock Catholic A 4-2.
Stubshaw Cross Labour also won 4-2 this week.
Their only losers were Des Myler and Paul Cunliffe.
Eric Hazelton and Peter Cogan claimed their respective scalps.
