SUCCULENT roast pork loin with white wine jus, apple sauce and crackling was served to 50 guests at Kelly and Matt's wedding.

Leek and potato soup with rarebit crouton started the sumptuous meal.

Chocolate tart with crme fraiche and orange syrup was dessert, followed by coffee and after dinner mints.

Lawson House Hotel provided the wedding breakfast for 50 guests and an evening reception for 100, in a package worth £3,100.

Sparkling wine was served on arrival, followed by a glass of wine with the meal and a toast.

Grilled marinated chicken, Mediterranean pizza, spiced meatballs and herb crusted fish goujons were just some of the tasty delicacies at the evening buffet.

Kelly's mum, Margaret, said: "The meal was fantastic, really beautiful. Everyone at Lawson House, from the receptionist to the girls waiting on, couldn't do enough for us.

"If you walked out, someone was there to ask you if you were alright.

"It's a place I thought was going to be too posh for me, but they made us feel so welcome and at ease, we all relaxed. I'd definitely looking forward to going again. Nothing was too much trouble for them."

Kelly's dad, Billy, was so overcome with emotion, she said, he broke down in tears unable to give his speech.

Little Josh, dressed in a miniature top hat and tails, was thrilled to bits to receive a ring just like his mum and dad, as a special gift.

Matt paid tribute to all the sponsors, saying: "If it hadn't been for the sponsors, this day would not have been possible. This is such a big day for us, it's been amazing."
