IN response to letter from Kimba in the Netherlands last week.

I have friends who follow the hunt and to my knowledge it is most unusual for the hounds to catch the fox, they track it down and shoot it.

Foxes are vermin and need to be controlled.

This past time is not my cup of tea but I don't interfere with it.

The fact is, banning hunting with dogs doesn't just affect the hunt.

Many other types of hunting use dogs these blood sports/jobs etc very little harm to anybody unlike football, rugby, boxing, kickboxing, ice hockey, etc.

These sports/jobs attract violence, can cause brain damage, death in some cases mass death and on occasion effect wildlife.

This is fact and I have personally witnessed some of it.

When have you seen dogs ripping a fox to bits and not on the telly in some publicity stunt?

A message for all - Joe Bloggs gets up one Saturday morning looking forward to a weekend of joyous idle chit-chat and sport, goes and gets him/herself bladdered in the local and heads down to the match.

Coming close to the turnstiles his howling and chanting becomes silent as he realises his joy is marred.

There are people dressed in tweed, some on horse back and Land Rovers all over the place blocking his path to delight.

Yes, I know the mind boggles doesn't it.
