THE Wids played two games against a previously undefeated Tarleton.
In the first, the superior forward power of Smith, Underwood, Andrews and Humphries got the Wids on top. This gave the backs a chance to show what they could do.
Ellison, Cartledge and Foster made in-roads to the Tarleton defence backed up by Rugan and Butterworth with Paton and Gagen scoring long-range efforts.
In the second, the Wids were on top straight from the kick-off.
Their defence was superb, not conceding any points against a team who had scored 65 points the previous week.
The tries in the second game came from Gagen (3), Paton, Cartledge and Humphries.
