A NUISANCE Hallowe'en prank will be stopped if a leading Winsford supermarket has its way.
Asda branches across the country will be refusing to sell eggs to children under 16 during the Hallowe'en period if a new policy is implemented, but Neil Eccles, manager of the Winsford branch, has said it is a policy they will carry out whatever happens.
He said: "If the policy is implemented, then of course we will do it, but I think we will anyway because it's common sense not to sell eggs to children at this time of year.
"It's a nightmare - we have kids throwing eggs all over the car park and shop windows."
Eggs will only be sold to children if they are accompanied by an adult.
