IN a hard fought contest Beechwood won 3-2.
The first half saw Beechwood denied by the Brow keeper to keep things level at the break.
Mill Brow started the second half in determined fashion scoring within minutes and having a second ruled offside.
Beechwood rallied and levelled through the free scoring Haslin, Keith Danson made it 2-1 with a stunning shot into the top corner, an Alex Pill penalty made it 3-1 and Mill Brow had their 'keeper to thank again for keeping the score down.
A late penalty made it 3-2 but Beechwood never looked like surrendering the lead.
