A SPECTACULAR fireworks display is planned this year and organisers hope to make it a real community event.
Pupils from several schools are getting involved in a guy competition and businesses in the town are showing their support through sponsorship, with Fords of Winsford as this year's main sponsor.
The display, organised by Winsford and Middlewich Rotary Club, will be held at Barton Stadium, Winsford United's ground in Wharton, on Saturday, November 6.
Gates will open at 6pm with festivities beginning at 6.45pm.
Tickets are £4 for adults and £1 for children, with all proceeds going to local charities and organisations.
To ensure the success of the event the Rotary Club is still looking for sponsors and anyone interested in helping out should ring Ron Attley, chairman of the organising committee, on 01606 553190.
