ECSTATIC bride Kelly Hudson fell in love with her wedding dress - minutes before she discovered she'd won our dream wedding competition.

She spotted the beautiful gown at the bridal fair in Lawson House Hotel in February.

"She'd seen in at the show and knew exactly what she wanted," said Pauline Hughes, of Bows'n'Belles of Widnes, who sponsored £1,000 worth of clothes for the bridal party.

"It was an ivory Duchess satin dress adorned with crystals and pearls, a Morilee design, renowned for the detail in the beadwork. She looked lovely."

Pauline, a dressmaker for 20 years, only opened her bridal shop two years ago and has been inundated with orders.

"We've just gone from strength to strength. Making brides feel special is all I want to do."

Pauline dressed Kelly on the morning of her wedding at her mum's home in Windmill Hill.

"To me that is the finishing touch, to see all the work come together at that final moment.

"She looked absolutely fantastic and was one of the calmest brides I've ever seen."

Kelly chose a Swarovski crystal tiari headdress by Chelsea and delicate Fleur veil created by designer, Liza, delicately trimmed with floral beadwork.

Her bridesmaid, Helen, 20, chose a dress in rose galore, a rich burgundy colour, in a simple, elegant design to complement her sister.

Her Clarice headdress, in silver and ruby, was also designed by Liza.

Groom Matt, his four-year-old son, Josh and nine groomsmen chose suits supplied by Etiquette formal hire. They wore black tail coats, silver Florentine waistcoats, claret handkerchiefs and claret ruched ties.
