A PLAY about life before death, two kids nearly getting 'married' under the oak tree on the edge of town at the age of six.
But the child-groom's big brother, Tanner, stole the Hula Hoop ring and messed it all up.
The nearly-weds are still trying to get it together more than 10 years later.
But they've never even kissed; so tonight, the day before Vincent (the child-groom) goes off to university, Laura (the child-bride) is determined to change that.
The play questions assumptions about freedom, breaking free and doing what you really want to do.
Chester Gateway, Wednesday, October 27 to Saturday, October 30, tickets £5, available from the box office on 01244 340392.
