CHRISTMAS has come early for the Warrington Wolves Wolfpack, as United Co-operatives has donated 400 chocolate selection boxes to be handed out by Father Christmas at the Wolfpack Christmas party.
The Wolfpack is the junior season ticket holders (aged under 16) who attend the games. Over a decade ago an independent committee was set up by the parents of these children to organise events for them.
This year they approached United Co-operatives to help them out, as the club is a non-profit organisation.
Roy Hankey, chairman of the Wolfpack committee, said: "The generosity of the United Co-operatives has been overwhelming and is set to make the Christmas party one to remember this year."
The party will take place today, Tuesday, at the Martin Dawes Stand at the The Halliwell Jones Stadium, at 7pm.
