MR and Mrs Townie go for a stroll across farmer Hamlet's land, whilst emitting dog muck and sweet wrappers.

They witness him shooting rabbits that are mowing the winter grassing for his horses.

When they return home they put out some slug pellets to make the song thrushes infertile, feed the local magpie on the bird table whilst looking and wondering why there are no house sparrows and they put out some nuts for the resident grey squirrel.

Set some mousetraps and put out some warfarin for the rats and to top off the day they phone the RSPCA and tell them what that barbaric farmer was doing earlier.
