MAY I on behalf of the president and committee of the Halton Branch Royal British Legion, thank everyone who donated to the Poppy Appeal this year.
Once again the people of Halton have come up trumps and done our appeal proud.
We would also like to thank all those who took part in our annual Remembrance parade and service.
It was especially gratifying to see so many of our younger people taking part, hopefully these are the people who will be looking after the interests of our local ex-service personnel in the future.
