AFTER reading Colin McGregor's letter a couple of weeks ago, it made me think everything he said was true.

During the 90s I was a DJ getting work every night.

I used to get sloshed every night and get paid for it.

Nowadays, even if I did get work, I wouldn't have much of an audience in the locals.

In the words of Col, I've just become 'unsociable and selfish' all I do now is to sit in with my brother, drinking high-powered lager, festering on our lack of education, remembering schooling, remembering your first pint.

Get out to the pub and put some cash behind the bar before they all shut and maybe you'll here me sporting gibberish and innocent insults over the mic again.

My brother and I are quite prepared to go on a drinking binge across the town in tribute to the good old working class thinking man's drink and if you'll join us we'll buy you a pint.
