Warrington U11s 0 Widnes U11s 12
North West Counties Schools Rugby League
WIDNES U11s secured third successive away victory with a 12-0 win over Warrington.
Although only 12 points separated the teams the result was never really in doubt.
The Widnes boys, sponsored by the Widnes past players association were remarkable.
Warrington trailed from Thomas Tuavao's try in the opening minutes, converted by captain Dominic Speakman.
There were pleasing performances all over the pitch, epitomised by Andrew Sheridan.
Driving runs from Jack Buck and James McDonnell and the tackling of Alex Clare forever pushed back the Warrington defence.
Astute kicks from Speakman turned the Warrington defence and caused confusion.
In the centres Kieran Butterworth and Connor Briers were devastating in defence.
The same could be said of the wingers Ryan McCann and Jordan Campbell and the replacements Adam Fraser and Kerim Kara.
Steven Ball was tireless in both attack and defence, while Jack Owens put the opposition on the back foot with his pace.
Widnes' other try was a fine effort via a devastating change of pace by Matthew Fozard, who converted his own try.
