LEIGH East came off the back of a couple of big defeats as their big forwards scored the first try of the game.

Jordan Campbell, Kieran Butterworth and Connor Briers were a constant threat.

Ryan Steadman had is best game so far with brilliant runs and tackles.

ADAM went over from 20 yards taking three men as he went.

Will Donlan scored an excellent try, set up by Jimmy O'Donnell who had his best game to date for the Bears.

The second half produced more of the same with tries from Davies, Costes and Clarke.

Man of the match, Chris Morris with four from five goals, second Sam Clarke, third Jimmy O'Donnell.

DAVID Winders was man of the match with four tries, Jack Callaghan was top tackler and Matty Murphy claimed the coach's award.

WEST Bank demolished Wolves with an eight-try extravaganza.

Dave Beswick opened the scoring, this was followed by Andy McGee returning to try scoring form from 20 metres, concluding a cross-field move.

The Bears were well served by Anthony Knight and Gavin Dick in organising the outside backs whilst Daz Jones, Chris Nuttie and Danny Hale did well going forward.

Bryn Pinnington was in outstanding form and gave Dick a clear run to the line before he galloped over for a four pointer.

Hale converted three times to give the Bank a 22-0 interval lead.

In the second half solid defence from Al Faulkner and Adam Mercer in the backs kept the Wolves out and allowed Beswick to orchestrate more attacks.

Ian Connor stormed over for two well taken tries with Nigel Flynn powering over out wide. Mike Lloyd came on and impressed with strong running.

The final action came when Knight spun in the tackle and found the supporting Gareth New for a well-taken effort.

The West Bank opposition man of the match was Nuttie closely followed by Connor and Beswick.
