MOORFIELD started well, Tom Spencer pounced on a loose ball and James Parle provided a good twisting drive.
This was followed up by good runs by Robbie Mullen and Jack Williams, however Moorfield failed to penetrate the Bears' defence.
Moorfield failed to turn their possession and position into points.
Wesley Gleave, Adam Condron, Jack Williams and Jonathan Myler provided strong tackling which limited the Bears to two first-half tries.
In the second half, Moorfield took the game to West Bank with powerful play from Ross Haydock, Michael Goff and John Hensby.
Jake Smith's acrobatic interception prevented a certain try and Josh Mellor's interception released the Moorfield backs.
Newcomer James Purcell settled in well coming on as a sub.
