CHOCOHOLICS can enjoy a tasty treat and raise money for cancer patients by taking part in a raffle organised by the landlady of a Middlewich pub.
Lesley Johnson, from the Turnpike pub on Warmingham Lane, wants to boost the £1,000 already raised by customers for cancer specialists at Christie Hospital and has a 4.5kg bar of Toblerone chocolate up for grabs to tempt people into parting with their cash.
Lesley and staff member Sue Buckley began fundraising at Easter after members of their families were treated at the Christie Hospital.
Lesley said: "It's a wonderful place that helps so many people.
"We just wanted to do something to give a little back."
Tickets are available from the pub for £1 a strip and the draw will be made between 10pm and 10.30pm on Christmas Eve.
Lesley thanked all customers who have donated raffle prizes in the past year and everyone who has bought a ticket.
