CHILDREN will have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Santa as he tours the streets of Winsford in the run up to Christmas
Winsford Rotary Club has arranged for Santa to travel through the streets to say hello to residents and wish them a merry Christmas.
Ron Attley, chairman of the Rotary Club special projects committee, said: "Santa enjoys wishing everyone a merry Christmas while the snowmen collect money for local charities and give out lollies to the well behaved children.
"Santa's float is now an essential part of the lead up to Christmas and something the children and grown ups look forward to."
Santa's float will visit Queensway and Dene Drive tonight, Foxfield Lane and the Fairways area tomorrow, the Beeston Drive area on Friday, Winsford town centre on Saturday, Station Road, Rookery Rise and the Nunhouse area on Monday, Wharton Road and the Wharton Park area on Tuesday, Knights Grange area next Wednesday and anywhere they have missed on the following evening.
