Wigan St Cuthbert's U12s 0
Widnes St Maries Dragons U12s 30
ST MARIES proved too strong for Wigan.
Both sides struggled and it took 19 minutes before Lewis Nulty broke and offloaded to the supporting Andrew Sheridan to open the scoring.
Niall Whitfield then dived over and with two Bobbie Goulding conversions St Maries led 12-0 at half time.
In the second half, St Maries took control and Jack Murphy went over before Bobbie Goulding scored a fine 25-yard individual try down the touchline.
Alex Brown then scored in the corner before Ryan Shaw scored the try of the match with a 65-yard special.
St Maries face Blackbrook next week in the semi-final of the Lancashire cup.
