A ROBBER with a rake struck at a betting shop in Runcorn.
He used it to smash the glass divider and then threaten staff, before making off with money in a yellow, nylon string bag.
He ran off up the footpath towards Castle Rise. The raid was at 5.30pm on Saturday.
He is described as 6ft tall, of slim build, aged in his early 20s. He wore a black stocking over his face, a green, army type camouflage jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms and black trainers.
