HALTON Council's transport section would like to inform public transport passengers that from Monday, December 6 there will be some important changes to local bus services operating in Runcorn.
The existing 20A and 20C services that were operated on the Council's behalf by Arriva will be withdrawn.
These will be replaced by a new 20 service between Runcorn bus station and Halton Lea via Weston Point, operated by Halton Transport on the Council's behalf.
Up to 9.30pm passengers are able to transfer at Halton Lea to other bus services to Runcorn East and Murdishaw.
This will result in the withdrawal of the evening bus service along Weston Road and the loss of services on the Runcorn busway between Halton Lea and Murdishaw after 9.30pm.
